How should I clean my jewelry?
- Periodically clean your fine jewelry with a soft lint free cloth or warm water, mild dish soap (without detergent), and a soft toothbrush to keep it looking its very best!
- Purchase one of our Foaming Jewelry Cleaners which is safe to use on diamonds, all metals, and precious gemstones.
How should I care for my jewelry?
- Our fine jewelry is meant to be worn every day, but it is still delicate and needs to be cared for accordingly. Please take the following precautions to extend the life of your jewelry:
- Remove your jewelry when applying or handling lotions, perfumes, bath / kitchen cleaning products, chemicals, and oil compounds.
- Remove your jewelry before engaging in athletic activities such as swimming or going to the gym.
- Remove all your jewelry before bedtime and lay it out flat.
- It is recommended that you do not sleep in any of your jewelry as it can loosen prongs, damage stones, scratch metal, tangle chains in your hair, and stretch your ear piercings.
- Clasp necklaces and bracelets when storing to prevent the chain from tangling or knotting.
- Store jewelry in a jewelry box with a soft fabric lining in a safe location without high humidity or extreme temperature changes.
- Store your jewelry in separate compartments to prevent damage as diamonds are capable of scratching gold and gemstones ranked lower on the Mohs scale.
- Don’t forget that our packaging can double as storage for your beautiful new jewelry!
Is solid gold waterproof?
- Yes! Solid gold is completely waterproof; there is no physical or chemical danger to your jewelry when showering or swimming. However, I do recommend removing your jewelry before either activity to prevent it from accidentally going down the drain! It is also best to minimize contact with shampoos, lotions, and oils as it will leave a dulling residue on your jewelry that will require you to clean it more frequently.
Do you recommend insuring your jewelry?
- Yes! We recommend Jewelers Mutual, and you can visit their website for more information at: jewelersmutual.com.

Tips to Make Sure You Find the Correct Size:
- Keep in mind that your finger size changes according to the season and even changes throughout the course of the day. If you are warm or if it is summertime, then your fingers will be a bit bigger. If you are cold or if it is wintertime, then your fingers will be smaller. Measure when you’re a bit warm to ensure that your ring will fit all the time.
- As a reminder, your dominant hand will typically be slightly larger than your other hand. Measure each finger individually to get your most accurate result.
- Measure your finger 3 or 4 times to compare and ensure that you are getting consistent results.
- Check to see if your knuckle is bigger than the base of your finger. If it is, then make sure to measure the widest part of your finger and the base of your finger so that you can size what is in between both measurements.
- When measuring with string or paper, make sure that it isn’t too loose nor pulled too tight. You will want the fit to be comfortable around your finger or wrist.
- Remember to keep in mind that wider bands will be a little harder to slip over your knuckle, so you may want to consider sizing up on rings thicker than 3 mm.
- Our negative space rings or cuff rings are slightly adjustable, but only by about a half size before it starts compromising the structural integrity of the ring.
